Northeast Illinois Council, BSA and Northwoods Chapter, IDOS will be hosting the 2nd Midwest Dutch Oven Gathering in Camp Oakarro on October 2-4, 2009.

Activities include:

*Cook-Offs: Breakfast Faire, Harvest Time Desserts, and Pork Main Dishes

*Group Meals

*Dutch Oven Classes taught by

* Scout Dutch Oven Show Down

Adding Fun

Cindy and Charlie Overton are the founders and owners of Black Pot Demo's, an outdoor cooking seminar and demonstration company located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

   Cindy is also the Advisor to the Northwoods Outdoor Cookers, which covers all of Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and the Northern Tier of Illinois.

    Overtons have done seminars and demonstrations at some of Wisconsin's Sportsman's Warehouse stores, and Minnesota's Cabela's Sport stores.

     They now travel across the Midwest to various sport stores teaching the employees about outdoor cooking and outdoor cooking equipment, while still doing seminars and demos on the weekends.

    Cindy does a weekly radio spot/show with Dan Small and Judy Nugent on Wisconsin Outdoor Radio called the "Camp Chef Cooking Corner with Cindy Overton". This show airs on over 16 different stations throughout the Midwest. They also have filmed many segments for the TV show "Outdoor Wisconsin" with Dan Small. Cindy and Charlie are on the Camp Chef Pro Staff Team.
